Grayhair principals have more than 75 years experience working with the Nuclear Weapons Complex (NWC).  Grayhair LLC provides the unique experience and expertise to implement nuclear weapon product configuration management.  This includes:  

• The application of Computer Aided Engineering tools used to define weapon product and the Engineering Information Systems to document, record, and manage the configuration of weapon product, and  

• The knowledge of the NWC requirements, e.g., the Technical Business Practices, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) Development and Production Manual and the Quality Assurance Procedures Manual, which are the basis for DOE/NNSA product configuration management.  

Specific examples of Grayhair’s experience are:  

• Participated on the NWC System Team that created the Technical Business Practices,  

• Acted as the primary consultants to all NWC agencies on product configuration management,

• Developed policies and procedures for the management of commercial product and the related interface with commercial suppliers,  

• Created an NWC Product Management Course that was given the DOE/NNSA Quality Management Award, and  

• Prepared and presented product configuration management courses in a variety of formats for over 4400 personnel in the NWC.
